About Project
The current project has come up to study environmental impacts of connecting and construction of shortcut routes from Fars to Yazd province through railway. Some part of the railway passes through Kalmand environmental protected area, which has a high sensitivity. During field investigation, all migration and wildlife corridors were explored and mapped in the form of GIS layers and aligned with the railway line. Eventually, after the expert meetings with the designers, the DoE of the province and the relevant authorities, it was attempted to modify the route in some places to minimize the environmental impacts on the environmental protected area.
Actual services:
- Investigating 21 spatial varieties
- Field investigation of all migration and transit corridors and wildlife habitats in the environmental protected area of Kalmand
- Providing GIS maps of wildlife corridors and adjusting with railways
- Modification of the route in some places to reduce environmental impacts on the environmental protected area of Kalmand
